We are looking for a vehicle technician to help us continue our service. You will be a key member of our team, maintaining vehicles to the highest standards and perform:
- Vehicle inspections to 'O' licence standards;
- Preparing vehicles
- Vehicle condition reports;
- Service, maintenance and repairs to vehicles and installations;
- Welding and fabrication;
- Body repairs;
- Vehicle and plant recovery;
- Maintaining legal records;
- Providing coverage for seasonal events outside of core business hours.
You will need to have good business acumen and be able to work closely with our customers and provide advice and assistance. Previous experience as a SMART Repair technician is essential. Experience in a similar Bodyshop environment is beneficial as we are looking for an individual who has the ability to operate efficiently in a fast paced environment. We are looking for someone passionate about providing the highest possible standard of repair with strong attention to detail. Strong time management and organisational skills are also required as you will be ensuring that allocated jobs are completed within estimated timescales.
Perform routine maintenance and service on the vehicle, inspecting components for wear and documenting all findings. You will also test potentially faulty parts, diagnose any problems and fix faults. Support internal departments in the preparation and maintenance of new cars, used cars or loaner vehicles. Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.
